Members of the SED, thank you for this wonderful year of service.

It has been an honor and privilege to server as your Member-at-Large South for this past year; I can only hope that I served you well. To my fellow former officers, it has been an enlightening experience to work with you, and I hope that our friendships will only grow stronger. To the new council, you are in for a year of rich and wonderful experiences. I hope to see you all around the District and at events throughout the year.

The basic bid package would include proposed and alternate dates, available facilities (large and smaller meeting rooms), AV availability, etc. The bids must include a letter of endorsement from the director of bands and the chapter sponsor (if a different person).

Other items that should be included:
-Plans for a musical activity - concert by whom and when
-Hotel availability, with rates and distance from meeting areas
-Restaurant information, again with rough prices and distance from hotels and meeting areas
-Banquet information - location, capacity, cost

What a very successful DLC we had this year!! Great representation and involvement from all attending chapters. Big Thanks again to the Epsilon Lambda Chapter at Western Carolina for a job well-done.
